From all corners in St. Bavo Cathedral, no less than seven recitals resounded, heralding seven catastrophes. With BL!NDMAN [sax] and Collegium Vocale Gent, James Wood set to work with biblical texts from the Revelation of John and managed to seamlessly interweave them with current political events. Wood's world premiere Apokalypsis was a hallucinatory experience that brought the last judgment palpably to the audience.
