How do I buy a ticket?

Tickets are available online via the website. Go to the page of the concert you want to attend and buy your ticket there. Need help reserving tickets? You can always contact Bespreekbureau Tickets Gent via:

  • Counter: Sint-Baafsplein 17, 9000 Ghent. Open Monday to Friday between 10am and 6pm, and on Saturdays from 2pm to 6pm. Closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Is there a free programme?

During OdeGand you can enjoy a free programme. More info can be found here.

Can I also buy tickets at the venue?

When the show is not sold out, you can buy tickets at the venue. You can also always buy a ticket in advance online on the concert page of your choice on our website.

Can I come to Gent Festival as a group?

Absolutely, groups of 10 or more receive a 10% group discount per ticket. Would you like to attend as a group? Please get in touch via groepen@festival.be.

Accessibility

I have difficulty walking / I use a wheelchair. Can I attend concerts at Gent Festival?

I have difficulty walking / I use a wheelchair. Can I attend concerts at Gent Festival? Our concerts are accessible for wheelchair users, but since every venue is different, we are happy to provide tailored support where needed. Do you use a wheelchair? Please send us an email after purchasing your ticket at toegankelijkheid@festival.be. This way our welcome staff can optimally prepare your visit and arrange accessible seating.

Can I attend concerts and events at Gent Festival as a person with a disability?

People with a European Disability Card (EDC) can bring a companion to the concert free of charge. The EDC shows that you are recognised for a disability, even if it is not visible. Don't have an EDC yet? Apply for your free card. Reserve your ticket and your companion's ticket directly via toegankelijkheid@festival.be.

Can I bring my dog to the concerts?

Pets are not allowed at the concert venues. Assistance dogs are welcome. Would you like to attend a concert with an assistance dog? Please mention this when making your reservation or send an email to toegankelijkheid@festival.be, so we can take this into account when assigning seats.

What age is Gent Festival for?

Gent Festival is for everyone. As a parent or guardian, you can judge for yourself whether a particular concert is suitable for children.

Do you have a programma booklet available?

Yes, we've published a festival magazine that is available at various distribution points throughout the city.

What if I arrive late?

Latecomers will be admitted – only where possible – during applause or at the first break. However, access to the hall is not guaranteed. Tickets for latecomers will not be refunded or exchanged.

At the venue

Are photos allowed during the concerts?

No, we ask that you do not disturb the artists during the performance.

How do I recognise a Gent Festival staff member?

Gent Festival staff members can be recognised by their uniform, t-shirt or badge.

Are there free toilets available?

Free toilets are available at almost all concert venues. If this is not the case, we will mention it on the concert page. 

On event days such as OdeGand or Whispering Leaves, toilets are not always available at the concert venue. Here you can find an overview of publicly accessible toilets in the city of Ghent.

Is catering available at the concert venues?

At some concert venues you can enjoy a drink before or after the concert. It is not permitted to bring your own food or drink to the concert.
