The youngest generation of European chamber musicians will gather for a week at KASK & Conservatorium in Ghent. Under the banner of the European Chamber Music Academy (ECMA), of which Flanders Festival Ghent, together with KASK & Conservatorium, is a proud partner, they will participate in four days of intensive masterclasses led by some of Europe’s most renowned musicians. The masterclasses are open to the public and free of charge. You can witness and enjoy the results during Rough Surfaces on 15 September.

Public masterclasses

Admission is free. Please register at the MIRY Café, where you will also receive information about which class is taking place in which room.

The public masterclasses will take place on:

Saturday 12 September, from 9:00 to 12:15 and from 13:30 pm to 18:30.
Sunday 13 September, from 9:00 to 12:15 and from 13:30 pm to 18:30.
Monday 14 September, from 9:00 to 12:15 and from 13:30 pm to 18:30.
Tuesday 15 September, from 9:00 to 12:15.
