Ghent Festival tips: the tastiest places to eat in Ghent!

On presentation of your concert ticket you can enjoy a free apero! Promotion is valid for lunch or dinner during the Festival period from 19.09 to 3.10. (not valid during OdeGand).

Cafe Theatre

In Cafe Theatre you’ll find a wealth of culinary delights throughout the day. For more than 20 years, the restaurant has been a Ghent fixture, set in the Royal Opera building. During the day, you can also visit for something deliciously sweet or savoury at Bloch Bakery. In the evening, you can sample the most delicious cocktails and enjoy a fine example of internationally renowned mixology. Brand new is the cheese bar with cheeses from cheese-ripener Van Tricht. From starter to dessert, everything revolves around cheese. Enjoy a delicious cheese experience and unique food pairing!

Brasserie Pakhuis

Brasserie Pakhuis is a unique restaurant in a beautifully restored warehouse in the historic city centre. Korenlei Twee

'Korenlei Twee' is in a prime location, offering a fantastic view of the Korenlei, the Graslei and the Sint-Michielsbrug. Nenuphar

Restaurant Nenuphar, located on the bank of the River Lys in the idyllic village of Afsnee, is an established name in gastronomic Ghent, and a mere ten minutes’ drive from Ghent city centre. Patyntje

The Patyntje is housed in an charming villa in the colonial style and its terrace—with its view of the River Lys—is thoroughly recommended.
