The Flanders Informal Summit 2020
For the twelfth year in a row, The ‘Flanders Informal Summit’ brought together leading figures from the academic, political, economic and cultural worlds for an informal gathering in which culture and enterprise go hand in hand. A live networking evening was impossible in the current climate, so along with eleven other organisers we decided to make this a digital edition. On the menu was a debate on the theme The Power of Diversity in a Shared Destiny: a keynote speech that former UN-Secretary General Ban Ki-moon wrote especially for the Summit. Prime Minister Alexander De Croo joined us at the table as a central guest, to reflect on this together with Paul Stoffels and Marleen Temmerman.
This high-profile debate will be broadcast in the week of 2 November on Kanaal Z at 8 am, 1 pm and 6 pm each day.
