Set off on a musical journey around the world with OdeGand En Route
With En Route, you curate your own concert series choosing from nine unique musical worlds. From cabaret to romantic symphony, Arabic melodies or a vocal quartet, from Ukrainian singing traditions to electronics. Or do you prefer some French Baroque and an accordion virtuoso? Discover all the artists, choose one of the nine routes, and set off on a personal journey full of surprises and magic.
Almaghoot Quintet weaves microtonal textures, Arabic melodies and jazz into a boundary-pushing programme of stories and cultural exchange.
Ensemble Théodora and soprano Hasnaa Bennani explore the French influence on German court music around 1700 in a refined baroque programme.
Heinali and Andriana-Yaroslava Saienko offer a radical reinterpretation of Hildegard von Bingen through Ukrainian vocal traditions and modular synthesis, shaped by war and memory.
Omar Hayat brings hypnotic Gnawa music from Morocco, earthy and spellbinding, rooted in centuries of tradition.
Or Sebastian explores identity and sexuality in an a cappella suite blending classical form, queer texts and pop.
Théo Ould Sextet presents music as an act of resistance, from Bach and Beethoven to Chopin and powerful protest songs.
Valentina Tóth blends piano, song and cabaret in a sharp, funny mix of new and existing material.
The Zeeuws Orchestra performs Dvořák's Eighth Symphony, conducted by Ivan Meylemans.
Free closing concert: Ways of [ ]

That is the question composer Zeno van den Broek poses in Ways of [ ], an audiovisual composition in which two musical ensembles play alongside four self-playing percussion machines. Discover it for yourself at this free closing concert of OdeGand at the Wintercircus.
