Barely 12 hours between Lieder, a Reich frenzy and Shostakovich in the morning light.
First, Matthias Goerne and Camerata RCO brought the alpha and omega of Lieder to Muziekcentrum De Bijloke, with Eisler and Schubert.
Then Club Wintercircus: Music for 18 Musicians with Het Muziek, HIIIT and Storm in a Jar. Reich at full pulse, the room growing warmer, bodies growing closer. ROLROLROL pulled the night open further with Jameszoo and Niels Broos.
And a few hours later: Alexander Melnikov in the Palmarium. Shostakovich as the light slowly returned outside.
De Bijloke. Wintercircus. Palmarium. Song, pulse, club night, morning light.
Not even 24 hours. One festival city, constantly shifting shape.
PLEASE DISTURB. Sleep later.
