JongFest
JongFest is a group of young people (18–26) immersing themselves in the world of classical music and Flanders Festival Ghent. As young audiences are the future of our festival, we believe it is important to give them a voice within our organisation.
JongFest Selection 2026
Each year, JongFest curates a selection of three concerts they are particularly looking forward to. For these selected performances, young people under 26 can purchase tickets for just €10. Discover this year’s JongFest selection.
What is JongFest?
1. Musical exploration: JongFest introduces young people to the diversity of music and encourages them to broaden their musical horizons.
2. A behind-the-scenes experience: Participants get the chance to experience the festival up close and discover what goes into organising a large-scale cultural event.
3. Participation: JongFest gives young people a voice within the festival. Their ideas, experiences and feedback help us keep Flanders Festival Ghent relevant, accessible and inspiring for younger audiences.
