silent sunday
savour the sound of silence
In the historic urban oasis of the Museum Dr. Guislain, we explore the less-is-more - side of our festival theme, venturing into the space where music meets silence.
Alongside an Eastern tea ceremony and a haiku workshop led by Herman van Rompuy, the program features solitary flute solos by Bach and Sciarrino, true ASMR-inspired compositions by Ruud Roelofsen, and the 'unspoken music' of Catalan proto-minimalist Frederic Mompou.
A day in silence
The Dr. Guislain Museum opens for visitors from 1:00 PM.
