Cello Octet Amsterdam

Circling Melodies at St Peter’s Church

What is more beautiful than a single cello? Exactly: eight cellos! Arranged in a circle beneath the dome of St. Peter’s Church, they perform the composition ‘8’ by the American minimalist Michael Gordon. The audience sits around them, hearing, seeing, and feeling the musical patterns swirl.
