Word and voice artist Ella Michiels and guitarist Wido Uvin are a match made in theatre heaven. In this intimate performance, they perform letters by Ludwig van Beethoven, in which we get to know the man behind the music. Beethoven the flirtatious, the sensitive, the fashion-conscious, the invalid. The man whose humour and gloom must coexist. In an original mix of excerpts from Beethoven's letters to his loved ones and intimate guitar music by him and his contemporaries, Ella and Wido take you into the world of an extraordinary man, a unique artist and, of course, his incomparable music.

Biography
Ella Michiels
- Is a presenter, presentation coach, radio voice and theatre maker
- Appears on stage more than a hundred times a year
- As a presenter, you can see and hear her at STROOM, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Brussels Jazz Orchestra, Studio 100, the World Choir Games, Klara, Theater Aan Zee, deAuteurs, Poëziecentrum and many more
- Is a language and presentation coach for the onscreen faces of the VRT
- Teaches in Aalst at the Academie voor Podiumkunsten in the department of Word art and Drama
Wido Uvin
- Is a guitarist and composer
- Plays both the electric and acoustic guitar
- Is skilled in various genres
- Got his Master's Degree in classical guitar in Ghent
- Teaches at various academies for the performing arts in Flanders
- Previously created the performance Brieven aan mijn lieven with Ella Michiels
