Young go-getters from the European Chamber Music Academy and their teachers
For young virtuosos, the European Chamber Music Academy is one of the greatest stepping stones to an international career in chamber music. In The Generation Project, the Ghent Festival in any case provides a platform for this up-and-coming young talent, and an opportunity for you to witness them just before conquering the global music.
Uniquely, they share the platform shoulder-to-shoulder with several renowned chamber musicians under whom they will have been able to hone their skills during several days of intensive master-classes. They will take great pleasure in presenting us with the results: the programme includes chamber music works by Brahms, Mendelssohn, Shostakovich et al.
Grab the chance to see two generations of leading musicians at work alongside one another and to discover tomorrow’s musical stars!
From Sunday16 September until Monday 19 September everyone is welcome to wander in and out during the master classes of the ensembles. More information.
